Onesimo Valorozo Arellano, 80, of Kailua-Kona died July 21 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a houseman at Royal Kona Resort and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. A three-day vigil will start at 5 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 2) at 77-6519 Seaview Circle in Kailua-Kona. Visitation 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Kailua-Kona. Mass at 12:30 p.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park in Holualoa. Casual attire; flowers welcome. Elson “Bobo” Kanaina Brown, 77, of Hilo died July 22 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired foreman and lineman for Hawaii Electric Light Co., longtime musician and entertainer in Hilo, owner of the former Bobo Brown Catering and supporter of Hospice of Hilo.
